Precision aerial photography

State of the art aircraft

FRG's primary aircraft is a new state of the art VulcanAir P68C.
Custom built in 2009 for aerial photography the P68C features triple GPS navigation and digital avionics, making it one of the newest aerial camera aircraft in the country.

Loaded with Safety

Our P68 has been designed around twin, fuel injected, Lycoming engines providing a huge margin for safety should one engine fail or suffer a loss of power.

The IFR-certified GPS system offers full 3D navigation in less than ideal weather, with a second GPS as a backup and a third that provides 3D navigation for photo flight missions.

A built-in satellite-based weather reception system gives the flight crew access to the current weather situation nationwide. Our on-board RADAR let's us navigate away from bad weather both at home and abroad while our active collision-avoidance system searchs for and alerts the crew of other nearby aircraft.

Smooth & Steady

The P68 flies slow at low altitudes for mapping photography at 1000ft yet is happy to climb high for large area coverage and single spot-shots. Close to the center of gravity, our shock-protected gyrostablized camera is in the perfect area for crisp photography. Our sealed camera bay is opened only for photo runs, ensuring the camera lens is kept clean until it is needed.
